.ca for Canadians
A .ca tells customers you're Canadian. It's available to Canadian residents, businesses and organizations.
Already have a domain?
Move it to us and get the same included mailboxes. We handle the transfer and make sure your website and email keep working.
Choosing a good domain
- Keep it short and easy to say over the phone
- Avoid hyphens and numbers — people forget them
- Use your business name, or your name plus your town or trade (like smithplumbingnorthbay.ca)
- Get the .ca and the .com if you can, so nobody else takes the other one
Domain questions
Who owns the domain?
You do. We register it in your or your business's name — never ours.
What does the yearly price include?
The domain registration, DNS (the settings that point it to your website and email), and 2 email mailboxes. Extra mailboxes are $4.99 /mo per mailbox.
Can I move my domain away later?
Yes. It's your domain — we'll give you the transfer code whenever you ask.
Not sure which name to pick?
Tell us about your business and we'll suggest a few that are available.
